William Paulet (born around 1532, died 1598) was an important English nobleman. He was the 3rd Marquess of Winchester. His father was John Paulet, the 2nd Marquess. William Paulet held many important jobs during the time of Queen Elizabeth I.

He became a Knight of the Bath in 1553 during the coronation of Queen Mary I. This was a special honor given to knights.
