Willow Springs is found in the northern part of Lafayette County. It shares a border with Iowa County to its north.
The town covers an area of about 124.9 square kilometers (which is about 48.2 square miles). All of this area is land. Two important waterways flow through the town. The Pecatonica River runs through the western part. Otter Creek, which flows into the Pecatonica River, is in the eastern part.
