Wincent Weiss (born January 21, 1993) is a popular German singer. He first became known in 2013 when he took part in a German TV talent show called Deutschland sucht den Superstar.

Wincent Weiss's Music Journey
Starting Out: From TV Show to First Hits
In 2013, Wincent tried out for the German talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar. He did well enough to be one of the top 29 contestants. Even though he didn't make it to the live shows, his journey was just beginning!
A few years later, in 2015, Wincent uploaded an acoustic cover of the song "Unter meiner Haut" to YouTube. Two German DJs, Gestört aber GeiL and Koby Funk, liked it so much they made a remix. This remix became a huge hit! It reached number six on the German music charts and sold so many copies that it earned a platinum award.
Before becoming a full-time singer, Wincent worked as a waiter and even did some modeling.
Releasing Albums and Winning Awards
Wincent's first solo song, "Regenbogen," came out in 2015. Then, in 2016, he released "Musik sein," which became very popular in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It was a top ten hit in Austria and Switzerland!
His next song, "Feuerwerk," was released in 2017. It also did well, reaching the top 30 in Germany and Switzerland. These songs were part of his first studio album, Irgendwas gegen die Stille, which came out in April 2017. The album was a big success, reaching number three in Germany and number four in Switzerland. It also went platinum in both countries, meaning it sold a lot of copies!
In 2017, Wincent was part of Germany's jury for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Ukraine. Later that year, he won an MTV Europe Music Award for Best German Act.
More Success and New Roles
In April 2018, Wincent won an Echo Award for Best National Newcomer. This is a big award in German music! He then released "An Wunder," the first song from his second album, Irgendwie anders. This song also became a top 20 hit in Germany and earned a gold award.
That same year, Wincent lent his voice to the main character in the German animated movie Tabaluga. His second album, Irgendwie anders, was released in March 2019. It reached number two in Germany and Switzerland and also earned a gold award.
In 2019, Wincent appeared on the German TV show Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert, where musicians cover each other's songs. Since 2021, he has been a coach on The Voice Kids Germany, helping young singers. In 2024, a singer from his team, Jakob Hebgen, won the season!
