Your journey begins in the ancient city of Troy. Here, you need to find important items like a crew roster and some wine. These items are key to starting your big adventure across the seas.
Traveling Through Famous Places
As you play, you'll visit many famous places from the Odyssey:
- The cave of Polyphemus: This is where the one-eyed giant lives! You'll need to be clever to get past him.
- Aeaea and Circe: You'll meet the powerful sorceress Circe. She has some magical tricks up her sleeve.
- Scylla or Charybdis: You'll face a tough choice between two dangerous monsters. One is a six-headed beast, and the other is a giant whirlpool!
- Thrinacia: This island holds another challenge for Wishbone.
Returning Home to Ithaca
Finally, your adventure leads you back home to Ithaca. But the journey isn't over yet! To truly win and help Wishbone escape, you must win a special archery contest. This contest helps Wishbone win back Penelope, just like in the original tale.

What Happens if You Lose?
If you don't succeed in a challenge during the game, Wishbone finds himself in the Underworld. This is the mythical land of the dead, ruled by Hades. Hades will challenge Wishbone to a game. Wishbone must beat Hades to a magical potion of Asclepius. If you win this challenge, you get to go back to the main game and continue your adventure! But if you lose or decide not to play, the game comes to an end.
