North and South Woodloch Streets connect on the eastern side of Woodloch. Needham Road is on the western side and links the town to State Highway 242.

Woodloch and Hurricane Harvey
In 2017, a very strong storm called Hurricane Harvey caused a lot of flooding in Woodloch. The San Jacinto River overflowed, and many homes in Woodloch had 3 to 8 feet of water inside them. This flooding was made worse because a large amount of water was released from Lake Conroe.
Because of the severe flooding, everyone in Woodloch had to leave their homes and evacuate. Even though about 25 water rescues were performed in the town, thankfully, no one died from the storm in Woodloch.
