Worthville's Past
Worthville has a history stretching back to the 1800s. A post office, where people could send and receive mail, opened here in 1847. The town got its name from William J. Worth, who was an important American general.

Worthville is located in the southern part of Carroll County. A stream called Eagle Creek flows along the town's southern edge. This creek then joins the Kentucky River nearby.
