YB is a popular South Korean rock band. They started making music in 1994. The band has released many studio albums, live albums, and digital songs. They have sold millions of albums and performed in over a hundred live concerts each year.

YB and the 2002 World Cup
YB became very famous during the 2002 FIFA World Cup. They played exciting songs like 'Oh, Pil Seung Korea' (which means 'Oh, Victory to Korea'). Millions of fans heard their music. When South Korea reached the semi-finals, YB's songs were played all over the country.
Their music helped to cheer on the national team. Because of their impact, YB won the best music award from Korea's biggest TV stations: KBS, MBC, and SBS. In 2003, they also received the first WPMA (World Peace Music Award). This award recognized their efforts in supporting human rights in Korea.
Touring in Europe
In 2005, YB made history by being the first Korean rock band to go on a tour in Europe. This was a big step for Korean rock music. They even released a song in the UK. This helped them share their music with more people around the world.
