Yathkyed Lake is a large lake located in the Kivalliq Region of Nunavut, Canada. It is sometimes called Haecoligua, which means "white swan." This lake is one of many found along the Kazan River.
For a long time, the Sayisi Dene people lived near Yathkyed Lake. They were skilled hunters of barren-ground caribou. Evidence of the Caribou Inuit people, who also lived in the area, has been found here too.
