Yelle (born Julie Budet on January 17, 1983) is a talented French singer and rapper. She comes from the city of Saint-Brieuc. Yelle first became well-known on MySpace.com. This was a popular website where people could share music and connect. She uploaded a song there that quickly became very popular.
Yelle works closely with her friend and music producer, GrandMarnier. Together, they recorded her first album called POP-UP. This album came out after her hit song "Je Veux Te Voir". In 2007, she also sang on a song called "Parle à ma main" with Fatal Bazooka. Later that year, she performed as an opening act for the singer Mika during his tour in Europe. In 2008, Yelle performed her song "A cause des Garçons" on a TV show in the UK. This was her first time on UK television.
