Yorkshire is a small community in New York, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area that looks like a town but isn't officially a city or village.
Yorkshire is located in the northeastern part of a larger area called Yorkshire Town. Both are found within Cattaraugus County. In 2020, about 1,176 people lived in the Yorkshire CDP.

Geography of Yorkshire
Yorkshire CDP is located at 42°31′20″N 78°28′31″W / 42.52222°N 78.47528°W. It covers a total area of about 4.8 square kilometers (1.85 square miles). Most of this area is land. Only a tiny part, about 0.03 square kilometers (0.01 square miles), is water.
Location and Nearby Areas
Yorkshire sits on the south bank of Cattaraugus Creek. It is also where two main roads meet: State Route 16 and State Route 39.
The village of Arcade is about 2 miles (3.2 km) to the east. Arcade is located in Wyoming County. Other local roads, like County Roads 54 and 72, also lead into Yorkshire.
