The Story of Patch's Adventure
The human family, Roger and Anita, and their many dalmatians are planning a big move. They are going to "Dalmatian Plantation" in the countryside. This new home has lots of space for all 101 puppies. It's also far away from the evil Cruella de Vil.
Patch, one of the puppies, feels like he's just one of many spots. He wants to be special, like his TV hero, Thunderbolt. While watching the "Thunderbolt Adventure Hour," Patch hears exciting news. There's a chance to appear on the show! It's filming right in London.
Patch Gets Left Behind
The family's big move causes a problem for Patch's dream. In all the excitement, Patch is accidentally left behind in London. He decides to head to the audition. He hopes to meet his hero and find out if he truly is one of a kind.
Thunderbolt's Trouble
Meanwhile, Thunderbolt's "trusty" sidekick, Lil' Lightning, gives him bad news. He tells Thunderbolt that the show's producers want to replace him. They want a younger dog for the role. To save his job, Thunderbolt decides he must perform a real heroic act.
Patch becomes the perfect guide for Thunderbolt. He knows all about Thunderbolt's TV adventures. Together, they try to find real-life heroic deeds.
Cruella's Return
As for Cruella de Vil, she's back! She is even more obsessed with dalmatians than before. At first, an artist named Lars helps calm her down. He tries to paint the perfect spot painting for her.
But Lars cannot create the exact painting Cruella wants. So, she locks him up. Cruella then goes back to her old, wicked ways.
A Tricky Plan
Lil' Lightning later tells Thunderbolt and Patch a shocking truth. Thunderbolt was never going to be replaced. It was all a trick! Lil' Lightning wanted Thunderbolt to quit. This way, Lil' Lightning could become the new star.
Patch is heartbroken when he learns this. His favorite "wonderdog" is just a TV actor.
