Autoroutes of France |
The A2 is an important autoroute (which means a big, fast road like a motorway) in France. It starts near a town called Combles, connecting to another major road, the A1. The A2 then travels all the way to the border with Belgium.
Once it crosses into Belgium, the A2 changes its name to the A7. Together, the A1, A2, and the A7 in Belgium form a main route. This route connects the famous city of Paris in France to Liege in Belgium. The A2 itself is about 76 kilometers (around 47 miles) long. It's also part of a larger network of roads across Europe, known as the European route E19.
Exits and Junctions
Motorways like the A2 have special exits and junctions. These are places where you can get on or off the road, or where it connects to other major highways. This helps drivers reach different towns and cities along the way.
