What Was Ace of Cakes About?
Ace of Cakes showed the busy, fast-paced world of making many custom cakes. These cakes were often like edible art! The team had to create them in a short amount of time. Most of the staff were Duff Goldman's good friends. They all had different personalities.
The show often featured them working long hours. They built and decorated cakes, but they always made jokes. This helped them deal with the stress of meeting deadlines. Sometimes, staff members drove the cakes to their final destinations. These trips could be hundreds of miles long.
Duff Goldman ran Charm City Cakes in a very relaxed way. He was famous for using unusual tools for baking. These included blowtorches, belt sanders, and even power saws! He used these tools to create his unique cake designs.
Famous Cakes They Made
Charm City Cakes created many amazing cakes. Some of the most famous ones include:
- Cakes for the Preakness Stakes horse race in Maryland.
