
Adria Airways facts for kids
Adria Airways is the national airline of Slovenia. It began in March 1961. In 1969, it bought its first jet aircraft, the Douglas DC-9. In December 1981, an Adria airplane crashed in Corsica. The crash killed 180 people. Adria bought its first Airbus A320 in 1989. As of June 2015, Adria has 12 airplanes.
