Albert Louis-Jean Jr. (born October 13, 1993) is an American professional football player. He plays as a cornerback, which is a defensive position. Al Louis-Jean played college football for Boston College. He has also played for several professional teams. These include the Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, Ottawa Redblacks, Massachusetts Pirates, and Northern Arizona Wranglers.
Early Life and High School Football
Al Louis-Jean grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts. He played high school football at Brockton High School. He was a very talented player. In 2010, he was chosen for the Massachusetts High School Coaches Association Super 26 All-State Team. He also received honors from the Boston Globe and Boston Herald.
As a senior, he was named his team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) as a defensive back. He made 60 tackles and caught five interceptions that year. He also played offense, catching 30 passes for 650 yards and scoring five touchdowns. By the end of his high school career, he had 12 interceptions. Besides football, Al Louis-Jean also played basketball and ran track.
College Football Journey
After high school, Al Louis-Jean first planned to play for the Miami Hurricanes. However, he later changed his mind. He decided to play for Boston College instead.
He played for the Boston College Eagles from 2011 to 2013. He did not play during the 2012 season. After his junior year, Al Louis-Jean made a big decision. He chose to leave college early and enter the 2014 NFL Draft. He still had two years of college eligibility left.

Al Louis-Jean was not chosen in the 2014 NFL Draft. However, he signed with the Chicago Bears on June 2, 2014. He was released by the Bears on August 30, 2014. But he rejoined the team's practice squad on September 1, 2014. He was then moved to the main roster on October 7, 2014. On February 4, 2015, he signed a new two-year contract with the Bears. He was released by the Bears again on August 30, 2015.
Time with the Washington Redskins
On January 5, 2016, Al Louis-Jean signed with the Washington Redskins' practice squad. He signed a futures contract with them on January 11, 2016. This type of contract means a player will join the team for the next season. He was released by the team on May 2, 2016.
