Albert Turner Bharucha-Reid (born November 13, 1927 – died February 26, 1985) was an American mathematician. He was a theorist who worked a lot on probability theory, Markov chains, and statistics.

From 1950 to 1953, he continued his studies. He went to the University of Chicago. There, he focused more on statistics and probability. He published eight papers during this time.
Family Life and Name Change
In 1954, he married Rodabe Phiroze Bharucha. After their marriage, he legally changed his name. He became Albert Turner Bharucha-Reid.
He had two children. Their names were Kurush Feroze Bharucha-Reid and Rustam William Bharucha-Reid.
