Alder Flats is a small community, known as a hamlet, located in central Alberta, Canada. It is part of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10.
This hamlet is found about 8 kilometers (5 miles) west of Highway 22. It also marks the western end of Highway 13. Alder Flats is located roughly 120 kilometers (75 miles) southwest of the big city of Edmonton.
