Alessandro Cattelan (born May 11, 1980) is a well-known Italian television and radio presenter. He became famous for hosting popular shows like Total Request Live on MTV Italia and Le Iene on Mediaset's Italia 1.

From 2011 to 2020, Alessandro also hosted the Italian version of The X Factor. He presented his own late-night show called E poi c'è Cattelan (EPCC) on Sky Uno. In 2022, he was one of the three main hosts for the exciting Eurovision Song Contest 2022, alongside Laura Pausini and Mika. He is also set to co-host the final night of the Sanremo Music Festival 2025 with Carlo Conti and Alessia Marcuzzi.

Alessandro is a big fan of the football club Inter Milan. He often goes to their games and training sessions to support his favorite team.

Alessandro Cattelan started his career in television in 2003. He has hosted many different types of shows, from children's programs to big music contests.

Early TV Shows

One of his first jobs was on a children's TV program called Ziggie from 2003 to 2005. He then moved on to host music and talk shows on MTV Italia, such as Most Wanted and Viva Las Vegas. From 2005 to 2008, he was a presenter for Total Request Live, a very popular music show. He also worked as a reporter for the satirical program Le Iene in 2006.

Hosting Major Shows

Alessandro became a household name when he started hosting X Factor in 2011. He hosted the talent show for ten seasons, helping many new singers become famous. He also hosted his own late-night show, E poi c'è Cattelan, where he interviewed many celebrities.

In 2021, he hosted a variety show called Da grande on Rai 1. A big moment in his career was co-hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, which is a huge international music competition. He also created and hosted a documentary series for Netflix called Alessandro Cattelan: One Simple Question in 2022.

Voice Acting Roles

Besides hosting, Alessandro has also lent his voice to animated movies. He was the Italian voice for Chuck in The Angry Birds Movie (2016) and The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019). He also voiced Max in The Secret Life of Pets (2016) and The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019).
