Alexandra Leigh LaForce, born on December 11, 1988, is an American journalist, model, and former beauty queen. She won the Miss Teen USA 2005 title. Today, she works as a reporter for TNT Sports, where she covers the NBA on TNT basketball games.
Before this, she reported on college football and college basketball for CBS. She also hosted a show called We Need to Talk on the CBS Sports Network. LaForce also worked as a sports reporter for the FOX TV station WJW in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2011, she won an Emmy Award for her work on FOX 8's high school football show, Friday Night Touchdown. She also played college basketball at Ohio University.

Early Life and Education
Allie LaForce grew up in Vermilion, Ohio. When she was younger, she was very active in sports. She played basketball, volleyball, and softball. She also ran track and competed in beauty pageants.
LaForce attended Ohio University. During her first year, she played five games as a guard on the Bobcats' women's basketball team.
Allie's Career Journey
Winning Beauty Pageants
Allie LaForce started her career in pageants by winning the Miss Ohio Teen USA 2005 title. She won this in September 2004, on her very first try. She then represented Ohio in the Miss Teen USA 2005 pageant. This event took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on August 8, 2005.
LaForce competed in different parts of the pageant, including evening gown, swimsuit, and a final interview. She was crowned Miss Teen USA 2005 by the previous winner, Shelley Hennig. Interestingly, Allie's mother, Lesa LaForce, was Miss Ohio USA in 1977.
As Miss Teen USA, Allie received a one-year modeling contract. She also got a scholarship to the School for Film and Television in New York City. She even made a guest appearance on the NBC soap opera Passions. During her year as Miss Teen USA, LaForce traveled across the United States. She helped promote important causes like drug and alcohol awareness.
Becoming a Sports Reporter

Allie LaForce began her sportscasting career as a sideline reporter for Sportstime Ohio. She covered the 2010 Mid-American Conference football season. She also reported on the 2011 MAC men's basketball tournament. In addition, she covered the 2011 OHSAA basketball championships.
After finishing college, she joined WJW channel 8 in Cleveland. This is a Fox TV station. There, she worked as a sports anchor and reporter.
In April 2014, it was announced that LaForce would become the sideline reporter for the SEC on CBS. She took over this role from Tracy Wolfson. LaForce also worked as a sideline reporter for NBA TV. She covered the NBA Summer League games in Las Vegas.
In June 2018, LaForce left CBS Sports. She then signed a deal with Turner Sports. This allowed her to continue her role as a sideline reporter for the NBA on TNT. She also covers the NCAA Tournament. As of 2022, LaForce also works as a field-level reporter for MLB on TBS Tuesday Night.
Personal Life
Allie LaForce is married to Joe Smith. He is a former professional baseball pitcher. Their first child, a son, was born in 2022.
