Alon Moni Abutbul (born May 28, 1965) is a famous Israeli actor. He has starred in many films and TV shows. He even won the Best Actor Award at the 44th International Film Festival of India.

Early Life and Education
Alon Abutbul was born in Kiryat Ata, Israel. His family has roots in Egypt and Algeria. He went to a special school for arts called Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim. His older brother, Avraham Abutbul, was also an actor and singer.
Film Career
Alon Abutbul has had a long and successful career in movies. He started acting in the 1980s and has appeared in many Israeli and international films.
Starting Out in the 1980s
After finishing high school in 1983, Alon appeared in the Israeli film Hapnimiyah. In 1985, he starred in Bar 51. He also acted with the popular comedy group HaGashash HaHiver in Battle of the Chairmanship.
In 1986, Alon got a big role in Shtei Etzbaot Mi'Tzidon. This movie was about the 1982 Lebanon War. He won the "Best Actor" award at the Jerusalem Film Festival for his role. That same year, he was in the American-Israeli film Every Time We Say Goodbye. In 1988, he acted in the American film Rambo III alongside Sylvester Stallone. In 1989, he won another "Best Actor" award at the Jerusalem Film Festival for the film Ehad Mishelanu.
Movies in the 1990s
In the 1990s, Alon continued to act in many films. In 1991, he was in the American film Killing Streets. He also starred in the Israeli film Roked Al Hahof in 1992. In 1993, he appeared in the American action film Deadly Heroes.
Alon also worked as a producer. In 1995, he produced and starred in the film Ha-Kochav Hakachol. He also acted in Leylasede and Ha-Khetzi HaSheni. Towards the end of the decade, he was in the Israeli film Gentila and Love at Second Sight.
From 2000 Onwards
In 2000, Alon Abutbul was honored with the "Film Actor of the Decade" award. This was given at the Haifa International Film Festival.
In 2001, he acted in the film The Order with Jean-Claude Van Damme. He also appeared in Israeli films like Mars Turkey. In 2003, he won an Ophir Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Nina's Tragedies.
Alon was part of the famous film Munich in 2005, directed by Steven Spielberg. In 2006, he was in the award-winning Israeli film Beaufort. He also starred in Noodle in 2007. In 2008, he acted in Body of Lies with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe.

Personal Life
Alon Abutbul lives in Los Angeles with his partner, Shir Bilya. They have four children together. His older brother was the late singer and actor Avraham Abutbul.
