Alvin Earl Walton (born March 14, 1964) is a former American football player. He played as a safety. Alvin Walton played for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League (NFL). He also played for the Baltimore Stallions in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Walton played college football at Mt. San Jacinto College and the University of Kansas. He is one of the few players to win championships in both the NFL and the CFL.

Alvin Walton was born in Riverside, California. He grew up and went to Banning High School. This school is located in Banning, California.
College Football Journey
After high school, Walton started his college football career. He played for two years at Mt. San Jacinto College. Later, he moved to the University of Kansas. He played football there as well.
Professional Football Career
Alvin Walton had a successful career in professional football. He played in both the NFL and the CFL.
Playing in the NFL
The Washington Redskins picked Alvin Walton in the 1986 NFL Draft. He was the 75th player chosen overall. With the Redskins, he helped the team win two major championships. These were Super Bowl XXII and Super Bowl XXVI. He played for the Redskins until 1991.
Playing in the CFL
After leaving the NFL, Walton took a break from football. Three years later, he joined the Baltimore Stallions in the CFL. In 1995, he won the 83rd Grey Cup with them. This was a special win because the Baltimore Stallions were the only American team to ever win the Grey Cup.

Alvin Walton is married and has seven children.
