Amr Medhat Mohsen Warda (born 17 September 1993) is an Egyptian professional footballer. He plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder. Currently, he plays for the Greek Super League club Atromitos.
Club Career Highlights
Starting with Panetolikos
On 22 August 2015, Amr Warda joined Panetolikos. He signed a three-year contract with the club. Warda was very happy when fans voted his goal as the best for the second matchday in the Super League Greece. He said he would always try his best for himself and his team.
On 20 December 2015, he scored an important goal in a 2–0 home win against Iraklis. He was named the best player of the match. In the 2016–17 season, he scored his first goal on 11 September 2016 against PAOK. A week later, he scored again in a 2–0 win against Atromitos.
Moving to PAOK
On 24 January 2017, Warda signed a 3.5-year contract with PAOK. He became the seventh Egyptian player to join PAOK. The transfer fee was about €350,000. He chose to wear the number 7 jersey in Greece. On 23 April 2017, he scored his first league goal for PAOK. This was in a 3–1 away win against Platanias.
Loan to Atromitos
On 29 August 2017, Warda joined Atromitos on a loan for the season. He scored his first goal for the club on 23 September 2017. This was in a 3–0 home win against Lamia. On 16 December 2017, he scored two goals to help his team win 3–1 against Kerkyra. He was named the best player of that game. Warda was also named the best playmaker of the first part of the season. He scored five goals and helped with two assists in 12 league games.
Returning to PAOK and Second Spell at Atromitos
In the summer of 2018, Warda came back to PAOK for the 2018–19 season. On 21 August 2018, he scored a goal in a UEFA Champions League play-off game against Benfica. On 24 January 2019, Warda rejoined Atromitos for the rest of the season. He scored in a 2–0 away win against PAS Giannina on 16 February 2019. A week later, he scored again in a 1–1 draw against Asteras Tripoli.
Loan to AEL
On 30 August 2019, Warda went on a season-long loan to AEL. He scored his first goal for AEL on 28 September 2019. This was a header that helped secure a 3–2 away win against Aris. On 22 January 2020, he scored two goals in a 2–2 home draw against Panetolikos F.C..
Playing for Volos
On 28 September 2020, Warda signed a one-year contract with Volos. He scored a goal on his first game for the club on 17 October 2020. This helped Volos win 2–1 against PAS Giannina.
Third Spell at PAOK
On 5 January 2021, Warda returned to PAOK permanently from Volos. He continued to play for the club. On 13 July 2021, Warda left PAOK and looked for a new club.
Anorthosis Famagusta
On 29 August 2021, Anorthosis announced that Warda had joined them. He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Cyprus championship for the 2021–22 season. This award was based on votes from other football players. He played in 27 league games, scoring 9 goals and making 8 assists. On 21 July 2022, Anorthosis extended Warda's contract until 2023. However, he left the club early in January 2023.
Apollon Limassol
Soon after, Warda signed a six-month contract with Apollon Limassol. He joined them until the end of the 2022–23 season. With Warda on the team, Apollon's attack got much better. He helped them move up in the league. He played 19 games, scoring 4 goals and making 4 assists.
Recent Clubs: Raja, Doxa, and Pharco
On 12 August 2023, Warda joined the Moroccan team Raja Casablanca. He later left the club. Soon after, on 24 August 2023, he briefly joined Cypriot side Doxa Katokopias. After that, on 9 September, Warda joined another Egyptian team, Pharco FC.
Panserraikos
On 20 December 2023, the Greek team Panserraikos announced that Warda would join them starting from 1 January 2024. His contract with the club ended on 3 May 2024.
International Career
On 11 October 2015, Warda played his first game for the Egypt national team. This was a friendly match against Zambia. His good performance at Panetolikos led to him being called up for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations squad. He helped Egypt reach the final by scoring a penalty in the semifinals against Burkina Faso. However, Egypt lost the final 1–2 to Cameroon.
In May 2018, he was chosen for Egypt's team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He also played in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Amr Warda is the son of Mohsen Medhat Warda, who was a famous international basketball player.
