André Ramalho's Football Journey

Starting His Career

André Ramalho began his professional football journey in Austria. On July 20, 2013, he played his first league game for Red Bull Salzburg. He played the entire match, showing his skill from the start. Just a week later, on July 27, 2013, he scored his first goal for the team. This happened in a big 5–1 win against FK Austria Wien. He scored another goal on August 10, 2013, against SV Grödig.

Time at Bayer Leverkusen

In 2015, André Ramalho moved to Germany to join Bayer Leverkusen. He played for this club until 2018. During the 2016-17 season, he was loaned to another German club, Mainz 05, to gain more playing experience.

Returning to Red Bull Salzburg

André Ramalho returned to Red Bull Salzburg in 2018. He had a memorable moment in the Europa League semi-finals. His team played against Olympique de Marseille. Even though they lost that specific game 1–2, Red Bull Salzburg won the overall match-up 3–2 on total goals. This exciting win helped them reach the 2018 UEFA Europa League Final.

On May 26, 2021, André Ramalho signed a three-year contract with PSV, a well-known club in the Netherlands. This move was special because it meant he would once again play under the coach Roger Schmidt. They had worked together before at Red Bull Salzburg and Bayer Leverkusen.
