Andre Frazier (born June 29, 1982) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons.
Andre was not chosen in the NFL draft. Instead, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2005. Before joining the NFL, he played college football at the University of Cincinnati.
Frazier won two Super Bowl rings with the Steelers. These victories were in Super Bowl XL against the Seattle Seahawks and Super Bowl XLIII against the Arizona Cardinals. He also played for the Cincinnati Bengals. Andre's father, Guy Frazier, was also an NFL linebacker.

Andre's Early Life
Andre Frazier grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He went to Hughes Center High School. There, he was a star football player. He was named to the All-City team twice. Andre helped his team win two League Titles. He graduated from Hughes High School in 2000.
College Football Career
Andre Frazier played college football at the University of Cincinnati. He was a student-athlete there from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, he received the University of Cincinnati Strothman Award. This award recognized his excellent performance in both academics and sports.
Playing in the NFL
First Time with the Pittsburgh Steelers
Andre Frazier joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2005. He was signed as an undrafted free agent. This means he wasn't picked in the draft but was still offered a contract. He started on the team's practice squad. This is a group of players who train with the team.
Before the first game, he was moved to the main 53-player roster. He played in 11 games, mostly on special teams. Special teams are groups of players used for kicking plays. In 2006, Andre broke his fibula during a game. Even though he was injured, he celebrated with his team. The Steelers won Super Bowl XL that year. He received a Super Bowl Championship ring.
The Steelers released Frazier before the 2006 season began.
Playing for the Cincinnati Bengals
On September 28, 2006, Andre Frazier signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. This was his hometown team. He played for the Bengals for the first two games of the 2007 NFL season. After a tough loss, Cincinnati decided to release him.
Second Time with the Pittsburgh Steelers
After leaving the Bengals, Frazier returned to the Steelers. In 2009, he signed a new two-year contract. On August 12, 2010, he was placed on injured reserve. This happened because of a knee injury.
Andre's Family Life
Andre Frazier's father, Guy Frazier, was also a linebacker. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Buffalo Bills.
Both Andre and his father were rookies when their teams reached the Super Bowl. However, only Andre's team won the championship. When Guy was asked about his son's Super Bowl win, he said he was very proud. He felt it was a great achievement for Andre.
