Andre Rush, born on September 7, 1974, is a famous American chef and a former soldier. He is well-known for his amazing cooking skills and his super muscular build. Andre Rush even worked as a chef at the White House for four different presidents! He was a high-ranking soldier, a Master Sergeant, in the U.S. Army before he retired.

Early Life and Education
Andre Rush grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. When he was in high school, he loved playing football as a running back. He studied a lot too! He earned a degree in Business Management and another degree in Hotel Restaurant Management.
His Amazing Culinary Career
Andre Rush joined the U.S. Army in 1993. He traveled to many countries as a soldier. He also taught others how to cook and how to do hand-to-hand combat.
In 1997, Andre Rush started working as a chef at the White House. He cooked for four different presidents: Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump. He worked at the White House part-time while also working at The Pentagon. On September 11, 2001, he was at the Pentagon when it was attacked. After that, he chose to volunteer for combat duties. He was also part of the U.S. Army's special cooking team, the Culinary Arts Team.
Andre Rush became very famous in June 2018. A photo of him cooking a special meal for a White House dinner went viral online. Everyone was amazed by his big muscles! After this, he signed a deal to create his own TV show called Chef in the City. He later left his job as a White House chef.
In 2020, Andre Rush received an award from The Salvation Army for his service. In 2023, he starred in a TV show called Kitchen Commando. In this show, he helped restaurants that were having trouble. The famous chef Gordon Ramsay helped produce this show. In 2024, he appeared in Culinary Class Wars, a cooking challenge show on Netflix.
His Incredible Fitness
Andre Rush is famous for his very muscular body and his large arms. When he was in high school, he could lift a lot of weight! In 2010, it was reported that he could bench press over 600 pounds.
In 2021, a magazine called Men's Health shared Andre Rush's daily routine. It said he eats eight meals a day and up to 10,000 calories!
Personal Life
Andre Rush's older brother, Ricky, passed away in 2016 from lung cancer. Andre Rush often talks about how important it is for people to get checked for cancer.
Besides cooking, Andre Rush also enjoys ice carving. He is also a motivational speaker and a life coach, helping others achieve their goals.
