André Vltchek (born December 29, 1963 – died September 22, 2020) was a journalist, writer, and filmmaker. He was born in Leningrad, which was then part of the Soviet Union. Later, he became a citizen of the United States.

André Vltchek lived in many different countries. These included the United States, Chile, Mexico, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He traveled to over 140 countries during his life.
