Andrew John Hansen (born 18 September 1974) is an Australian comedian, musician, and author. He is best known for being part of the comedy group The Chaser.

With The Chaser, Andrew has written and starred in many popular TV shows on ABC TV. These include CNNNN (2002–2003), The Chaser's War On Everything (2006–2009), and The Hamster Wheel (2011–2012). He has also performed in The Chaser's live stage shows. Andrew also co-starred in a radio comedy series called The Blow Parade with fellow Chaser member Chris Taylor.

Early Life and School

Andrew Hansen was born on 18 September 1974, in Australia. He went to The Hills Grammar School in Kenthurst, New South Wales, where he was the school captain.

Later, he studied at the University of Sydney. He earned a degree with honors in Australian literature and history. While at university, he appeared in a documentary called Uni. In this documentary, he met future members of The Chaser, like Charles Firth and Craig Reucassel.
