Anduramba is a small, quiet place in the countryside of Queensland, Australia. It's part of the Toowoomba Region. In 2021, about 84 people lived there.
About the Area
Anduramba has a small waterway called Emu Creek. This creek flows into the much larger Brisbane River. The Brisbane River is one of Queensland's most important rivers.
A Look at History
Anduramba once had its own school, the Anduramba State School. It first opened in 1912. The school closed for a short time in 1952 but opened again in 1953. However, it closed for good on 18 October 1959. The old school building was located on McGreevy Road.
Anduramba officially became a named area in February 1999. Its borders were changed in September 2005 to include another small area called Nudindenda.
