Animal Stories is a fun animated TV show from the United Kingdom. It was made for young children. This show was also seen in the United States on Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney from 1999 to 2002. Other parts of Asia also watched it on Disney Channel. Animal Stories even won a special award in 2001 called the Children's BAFTA for Best Pre-school Animation.

What the Show is About
Every episode of Animal Stories tells a new tale. Each story is about a different animal. These animals all have their own special and unique personalities. A cool thing about the show is that the entire episode rhymes! This makes it very catchy and fun to watch.
Episodes of Animal Stories
The show has a total of 52 episodes. These episodes are split into four different seasons. Each episode is about five minutes long. They each focus on one animal's adventure.
Season 1 Highlights
The first season introduced many memorable animal characters. Here are a few examples from Season 1:
- Big Pink Pig - This pig tries hard to change himself. But he soon learns it's best to just be himself.
- Trevor the Frog - Trevor the frog gets a big surprise. His wife Milly has lots of tadpoles! He learns to get used to his new, busy life.
- Helen the Penguin - Helen the penguin really wants to fly. On her birthday, her wish comes true!
- Smelly Dog - This dog has very stinky breath. Because of this, people try to stay away from him.
- Big Bold Lion - The old lion becomes a bit of a joke. This is because he has lost his hair.
- Hugh the Worm - Hugh is secretly a worm. He has a quick and exciting romance with Joyce.
More Animal Adventures
Seasons 2, 3, and 4 continue with more exciting stories. They feature many other animals. Each animal faces a unique challenge or learns an important lesson. For example, you'll meet:
- Bobby the Ape who loves gardening.
- Tony the Tortoise who tries to run fast without his shell.
- Fred the Dragon who struggles to breathe fire.
