Ann Morgan Guilbert (born October 16, 1928 – died June 14, 2016) was an American actress and comedian. She was known for her roles in popular TV shows. Many people remember her as Millie Helper. This was a character in the 1960s sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show. She also played Yetta Rosenberg. Yetta was the funny grandmother in the 1990s sitcom The Nanny.

Ann Guilbert's Life and Career
Ann Guilbert was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her father, Dr. Gerald Guilbert, was a doctor. Her mother was Cornelia Morgan. Ann's grandfather came from England.
She went to Solomon Juneau High School. Later, she moved to San Francisco. There, she studied theater arts at Stanford University. Ann started her career as a performer. She sang in the Billy Barnes Revues in the 1950s and 1960s.

After The Dick Van Dyke Show, Ann Guilbert appeared in many other TV shows. She was a guest star in Adam-12 and The Andy Griffith Show. She also appeared in I Dream of Jeannie and Seinfeld.
From 1993 to 1999, she played Yetta Rosenberg. This was a much-loved character on The Nanny. In 2004, she joined a reunion show. It was called The Nanny Reunion: A Nosh to Remember. She reunited with Fran Drescher and other cast members.

Ann Guilbert was married twice. Her first husband was George Eckstein. He was a writer and producer. They were married from 1951 to 1966. They had two daughters together. One daughter is actress Hallie Todd. The other is acting coach Nora Eckstein.
Her second marriage was to Guy Raymond. They were married from 1967 until he passed away in 1997.
Ann Guilbert's Death
Ann Guilbert died on June 14, 2016. She was 87 years old. She passed away in Los Angeles. The cause of her death was pancreatic cancer. An episode of the TV show Life in Pieces was dedicated to her memory.
