Jason Lawrence Geiger (born September 17, 1974), known as Austin St. John, is an American actor. He is most famous for playing Jason Lee Scott in the Power Rangers series.

Early Life and Background
Austin St. John's father, Steve John, was a U.S. Marine and a martial artist. His mother's name is Sharon. Austin has one brother, Stephen. Because his father was in the military, Austin lived in many different places across the United States while growing up.
Acting Career
Austin St. John's first and most famous acting job was when he was 17 years old. He was chosen to play the teen superhero Jason Lee Scott. This character was the Red Power Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This show was the first part of the Power Rangers series. It started on Fox Kids in 1993. For this role, he chose the stage name Austin St. John. He picked "Austin" from The Six Million Dollar Man's Steve Austin. "St. John" was a name he liked.
Becoming the Red Ranger
Like Austin St. John, his character Jason was skilled in martial arts. The Power Rangers show became very popular. It made St. John famous around the world. However, working long hours for low pay was tough. St. John and some of his co-stars, like Walter Jones and Thuy Trang, decided to leave the show.
Returning to Power Rangers
St. John played Jason, the Red Ranger, many more times. He appeared in both movies and TV shows. He had a regular role in Power Rangers Zeo. He also appeared in an episode of Power Rangers Wild Force in 2002. This episode was called "Forever Red." In 1999, he was also in a special called "The Lost Episode." He appeared as himself and Jason Lee Scott. This special showed the original pilot episode of the series.
Other Acting Roles
In 2017, Austin St. John had a small role in the movie Surge of Power: Revenge of the Sequel. In 2018, he acted in the TV movie Monsters At Large. He also had a big role in the 2019 drama movie A Walk with Grace. In 2020, St. John played Jason again in Power Rangers Beast Morphers. This was in an episode called "Grid Connection." In 2022, he had the main role in the film Tres Leches. John Schneider directed this movie.
Other Interests
Austin St. John is a skilled martial artist. He has a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. He also has a first-degree black belt in Judo. Plus, he holds a first-degree black belt in Kenpo. For some time, he worked as a martial arts teacher. He also wrote a book about martial arts in 1996. The book was called Karate Warrior: A Beginner's Guide to Martial Arts.
Personal Life and Education
Austin St. John went to Robert Frost Middle School. He also attended W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA. Later, he moved to Fullerton, California. There, he went to Sunny Hills High School. He did not finish high school there. As an adult, he earned his G.E.D.. He then got his college degree from Concordia University.
