Badara Traore, born on March 12, 1997, is an American professional football player. He plays as an offensive tackle, which is a position on the offensive line. He played college football for the LSU Tigers.

Early Life and High School
Badara Traore grew up in Hyde Park, Massachusetts. His parents, Bakary Traore and Rouguiatou Kaba, came from Africa.
He went to Matignon High School. There, he played both football and basketball. He had to travel two hours each way to get to school.
College Football Journey
Traore started his college football career at ASA College in Brooklyn, New York. He played there for two seasons.
In 2018, he moved to Louisiana State University (LSU). He chose LSU even though 26 other schools, like Oklahoma and Auburn, wanted him.
Playing for LSU
During his first year at LSU, Traore played in all 13 games. He started two of those games. His coach, Ed Orgeron, said he was one of the most improved players.
In his final season at LSU, he played in 13 games. He started three games: one at left tackle and two at right tackle. He also helped LSU win the national championship in 2019.
Professional Football Career
After college, Badara Traore began his professional football journey. He joined several teams in the NFL and the UFL.
Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears signed Traore on April 25, 2020. He joined them as an undrafted free agent after the 2020 NFL draft.
He was later moved to the team's practice squad. In October 2020, he was placed on a special list after testing positive for COVID-19. He left the Bears in August 2021.
Jacksonville Jaguars
On August 25, 2021, the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up Traore. He was later signed to their practice squad.
Traore played his first NFL game on January 9, 2022. This game was against the Indianapolis Colts. He left the Jaguars in August 2022.
Arizona Cardinals
Traore joined the Arizona Cardinals practice squad on September 1, 2022. He was moved to the main team later that year.
He signed a new contract with the Cardinals in January 2023. However, he was released by the team in August 2023 before the season started.
Carolina Panthers
On December 19, 2023, Traore signed with the Carolina Panthers' practice squad. He signed a reserve contract in January 2024. He was later released by the Panthers in August 2024.
DC Defenders
On January 23, 2025, Traore signed with the DC Defenders. This team is part of the United Football League (UFL). He was released by the team on March 20, 2025.
