Badara Traore (born March 12, 1997) is an American professional football player. He plays as an offensive tackle for the DC Defenders in the United Football League (UFL). Before turning pro, he played college football at LSU.

Early Life and High School
Badara Traore was born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts. His parents, Bakary Traore and Rouguiatou Kaba, are immigrants from Africa. He went to Matignon High School, where he played both football and basketball. He often traveled two hours each way to get to school.
College Football Journey
Traore started his college football career at ASA College in Brooklyn, New York. After two seasons there, he transferred to Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2018. Many schools wanted him, but he chose LSU.
In his first year at LSU, he played in all 13 games. He started two of those games. His coach, Ed Orgeron, said he was one of the most improved players. In his final season at LSU, Traore played in 13 games again. He started three games, playing both left and right tackle. He was part of the LSU team that won the national championship in 2019.
Professional Football Career
After college, Badara Traore began his professional football career.
Chicago Bears
In 2020, the Chicago Bears signed Traore as an undrafted free agent. This means he wasn't chosen in the main draft but was signed afterward. He later joined the Bears' practice squad.
Jacksonville Jaguars
In 2021, Traore moved to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He made his official NFL debut on January 9, 2022. He played in a game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Arizona Cardinals
Traore then joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2022. He was part of their practice squad and was later moved to the main team for a short time.
Carolina Panthers
In late 2023, Traore signed with the Carolina Panthers' practice squad. He stayed with them into 2024.
DC Defenders
In 2025, Traore signed with the DC Defenders. This team is part of the United Football League (UFL).
Personal Life
Badara Traore earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in 2020. He studied interdisciplinary studies. He has a younger brother named Boubacar. Boubacar also plays football as a defensive end. He started playing for Notre Dame in 2023.
