Meet the Characters
This movie brings classic Looney Tunes characters into the world of A Christmas Carol. Here are some of the main characters you'll see:
Daffy Duck: The Grumpy Boss
Daffy Duck plays the main character, like Ebenezer Scrooge. He owns a big store called Lucky Duck Superstore. Daffy really dislikes families and Christmas. He loves money more than anything! This is because he felt lonely when he was younger. But by the end of the movie, he learns to care about others.
Porky Pig: The Kind Assistant
Porky Pig is Daffy's assistant manager. He is a lot like Bob Cratchit from the original story. Porky is kind and works hard. He has a sweet daughter named Priscilla.
Bugs Bunny: The Narrator
Bugs Bunny tells the story. He also appears as a customer at Daffy's store. Bugs helps show how grumpy Daffy is at the start.
The Ghosts of Christmas
Just like in A Christmas Carol, three special ghosts visit Daffy:
- Sylvester the Cat as the Ghost of "Sylvester the Investor": He was Daffy's business hero. Sylvester warns Daffy that he needs to change his ways. He tells Daffy that three more ghosts will visit him.
- Granny and Tweety Bird as the Ghosts of Christmas Past: They take Daffy back in time. He sees how he became so greedy and focused on money.
- Yosemite Sam as the Ghost of Christmas Present: He shows Daffy how his actions affect his employees. Yosemite Sam gets tough with Daffy when he's not kind.
- Taz as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come: Taz shows Daffy what will happen if he doesn't change. This vision finally helps Daffy understand.
Other Fun Characters
Many other Looney Tunes characters appear in the movie. They work at Daffy's store or are customers.
- Priscilla Pig: Porky's kind daughter. She is like Tiny Tim from the original story. She helps Daffy learn about family.
- Playboy Penguin: A beggar who lives near Daffy's store. He gets a happy ending by the end of the movie.
- Pete Puma: He works as the janitor at Lucky Duck.
- Gossamer: He is the store's security guard.
