Barbara Stuart was born in Paris, Illinois. She grew up in a town called Hume, Illinois. After finishing high school, she decided to study acting. She went to the Schuster-Martin School of Drama in Cincinnati. Later, she moved to New York City. There, she continued to learn acting from famous teachers like Uta Hagen and Stella Adler.
Becoming an Actress
Barbara Stuart started her acting career on stage. She toured the country in a play called Lunatics and Lovers. In the early 1960s, she also worked as a showgirl in Las Vegas.
She appeared in several movies during her career. Some of these include Marines, Let's Go (1961) and Hellfighters (1968). Later, she was in the funny movie Airplane! (1980). She also acted in Bachelor Party (1984). Her last movie was Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills (1997).
