Berlinguet Inlet is a cool body of water in Nunavut, Canada. It's right next to Baffin Island, which is a very large island. This inlet is found at the southern part of Admiralty Inlet. It's almost separated from another bay called Bernier Bay by a narrow strip of land, only about 1.5 kilometers wide. This narrow strip is called an isthmus. To the north of the inlet, you'll find the Brodeur Peninsula. The Borden Peninsula is to the northeast.

The area around Berlinguet Inlet is quite special. You'll find lots of sedge plants and grassy meadows. There's also a freshwater lake nearby. The whole area of the inlet is very large, about 11,141 square kilometers. The land here can rise up to 300 meters above sea level.

Berlinguet Inlet is a super important place for birds! It's known as a Canadian Important Bird Area site. This means it's a key spot for many different bird species. The Canadian Wildlife Service also calls it a Key Habitat Site for migratory birds. These are birds that travel long distances every year.

You can spot many cool birds here, like fulmars, different kinds of gulls, and speedy peregrine falcons. There are also sea ducks and terns. One of the most amazing things is the huge number of greater snow gooses. The population of these geese in Berlinguet Inlet is the second largest in all of Canada!

It's not just birds that love this area. You might also see bearded seals and ringed seals swimming in the water. And, of course, the mighty polar bears often visit this area too.
