Bevington's History
Bevington was first planned and settled in 1872. It was named after a well-known local businessman, C. D. Bevington.

Bevington is located next to the Middle River. Most of the city is in Madison County.
The city covers a total area of about 0.46 square miles (1.19 square kilometers). Almost all of this area is land. Only a tiny part, about 0.01 square miles (0.02 square kilometers), is water.
Bevington is also right next to Interstate 35 and state highway 92, making it easy to reach.
