Ali Fitzgerald Moore (born on February 25, 1978), known as Big Ali, is an American singer, rapper, and DJ. He was born in New York City. Since 2001, he has lived in Paris, France. Big Ali is signed with Up Music, which is part of Warner Music.
Big Ali's Music Journey
Big Ali released his first album, Louder, in May 2009. Many French and international music producers and artists helped create this album. The first song from the album was "Hit the Floor," released in October 2008. Then came "Neon Music" in March 2009, and "Universal Party" in November 2009.
Big Ali also worked with other artists on popular songs. In 2006, he was featured on the song "Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)" by Bob Sinclar and Cutee-B. This song was a huge hit! It stayed at number one on the Belgian music charts for four weeks. In 2007, it also became a number one hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart in the United States.
Big Ali started writing his own song lyrics when he was just 8 years old. He also created a group of DJs called "World Famous Vynil Squad." He worked on radio and TV shows too. One of his radio shows was "Full Throttle," which featured Fatman Scoop. Big Ali also created a show called Jumpoff, hosted by Ed Lover and Doctor Dré. He even had his own show, "The Magic Hour," at Vassar College in New York.
Big Ali has performed in clubs all over the world. He has been to the United States, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. He also worked as an MC (Master of Ceremonies) at the famous Cannes Film Festival. He has collaborated with many successful French artists. These include Kool Shen, Amine, Jean-Roch, Leslie, Magic System, Bob Sinclar, Sinik, and Maude Harcheb.
