Thomas Louis Jones III (born February 12, 1980), known as Big Pooh or Rapper Big Pooh, is an American rapper. He is famous for being part of the hip hop group Little Brother with his friend Phonte. Besides his work with Little Brother, Big Pooh has also released his own solo music. He even wrote for a basketball blog because he loves the sport!

Who is Big Pooh?
Big Pooh started his music career in 1998. He became well-known as a member of the hip hop group Little Brother. This group was formed in North Carolina.
Early Career and Music Deals
Big Pooh and Little Brother first signed with an independent record label called ABB Records. Later, they signed a deal with Atlantic Records. This deal ended in 2007.
In 2007, Big Pooh appeared on a special download-only album. It was called And Justus for All. This album was given away for free online.
Solo Albums and Projects
Big Pooh released his first solo album in 2005. It was called Sleepers. Many people liked this album a lot.
In 2009, he released another album, The Delightful Bars. The music video for its main song, "The Comeback," showed Pooh in a kitchen. He was surrounded by women making "Delightful Bars" candy.
In January 2014, Big Pooh signed a new deal. He joined an independent label called Mello Music Group. This company is also home to other artists like Oddisee. His first album with them was made entirely by the producer Nottz. The second project was a shorter album (EP). It featured music from different producers at the label.

Big Pooh finished high school in 1998. He went to South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia. He is known for his love of basketball.
