Bigelow is a small village located in the western part of Holt County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, only 5 people lived there.
History of Bigelow
Bigelow got its name from someone who helped promote railroads in the area. A post office, which is where mail is sorted and sent, opened in Bigelow in 1869. It stayed open for a very long time, finally closing in 1992.

Bigelow is a tiny village, covering an area of about 0.25 square kilometers (or 0.10 square miles). It's all land, with no water areas within its borders.
This village is located close to the northwest edge of the Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is a special place for wildlife. Bigelow is also found in the Missouri River Valley, which is the area around the famous Missouri River.
