Black Mountain is a cool mountain peak found in the Cleveland National Forest. It's located in eastern San Diego County, California, just north of a town called Ramona. This mountain stands tall at about 4,048 feet (or 1,234 meters) high!
Sometimes, people call it Big Black Mountain. This helps tell it apart from a smaller mountain with the same name. That other one is in the city of San Diego itself, in a place called Black Mountain Open Space Park.
