Small Communities in the Township
Bohemia Township is home to a few small communities, or places where people used to live or gather.
- Algonquin was a community started in 1848. It even had its own post office for a while, from 1848 until 1867.
- Rousseau is a small, unnamed community in the southeast part of the township. It's found where Rousseau Road and Penegor Road meet. Back in the 1920s, there was a train station nearby called Rubicon.
- Seager was another community in the 1920s. It was located in the middle of the township, in a valley south of the M-26 highway. It was close to an old train line, the Copper Range Railroad.
