Brave is an exciting adventure game! It's based on the popular 2012 Disney-Pixar movie of the same name. Behaviour Interactive created the game, and Disney Interactive Studios published it. Guess what? Kelly Macdonald, who voiced Princess Merida in the movie, also voiced her in the game!

The Story of Brave
The game's story starts right after Queen Elinor turns into a bear and escapes the castle. This is a big moment from the movie!
Merida's Quest Begins
Princess Merida quickly chases her bear-mother through the forest. She follows her until they reach the mysterious Ring of Stones. Here, magical Will-o'-the-wisps appear. They guide Merida to the cottage of the witch who cast the spell.
Merida demands that the witch change her mother back. But the witch explains a problem. A scary, cursed bear named Mor'du has been spreading evil energy. This energy is corrupting special "waystones" across the land. This corruption makes bad creatures appear. It even makes the witch's magic unpredictable. That's why Elinor is still a bear!
Cleansing the Land
Since Merida is the best archer in the kingdom, the witch gives her a big task. Merida must cleanse the waystones of Mor'du's evil corruption. This is the only way to fix the magic.
As Merida travels, she finds her three younger brothers. Harris, Hubert, and Hamish have also turned into bears! She also sees her mother, Queen Elinor. Elinor is slowly losing her human self because the spell is lasting so long.
Facing Mor'du
Merida works hard to cleanse all the waystones. Finally, she reaches Mor'du's secret lair. There, Merida and her mother come face-to-face with the giant beast. After a long and tough battle, Princess Merida finally defeats Mor'du!
With Mor'du gone, Queen Elinor and the triplets return to their human forms. Merida realizes that her journey taught her an important lesson. She learned that she needs to balance her love for adventure with her duties as a princess.
How to Play the Game
Brave offers both single-player and local co-operative play. This means you can play by yourself or with a friend!
Playing as Merida
When you play, you control Princess Merida. If a friend joins, they can control a helpful will-o'-the-wisp. The game also has fun puzzles to solve. Merida's triplet brothers can help you with these puzzles. Queen Elinor, in her bear form, can even be played in special arena fights!
You can visit different parts of the game world from the "Ring of Stones" area. Merida can use different types of charms. These charms are fire, earth, air, and ice. They add cool elemental effects to her arrows and sword attacks. Some enemies are weaker to certain elements, so choose wisely!
Motion Control Fun
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game have a special feature. They work with PlayStation Move and Kinect motion controllers. You can use these for an "archery range" mode. This lets you feel like you're really shooting arrows!
