Breezy Point is a city located in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, in the United States. It is part of the larger Brainerd area. In 2020, about 2,574 people lived there.

History of Breezy Point
Breezy Point is well-known for its resort. A rich publicist named Wilford Fawcett bought the land in 1921. He owned Fawcett Publications and created the famous Whiz Bang magazine.
Fawcett's own home, called Fawcett House, can even be rented by the public today. Because of Fawcett's actions, the resort community grew a lot.
In 1939, the area became an official village. It was first called Pelican Lakes. Later, in 1969, its name was changed to Breezy Point.
Geography of Breezy Point
Breezy Point covers about 16.56 square miles (42.9 square kilometers). Most of this area is land, and a smaller part is water. The city is located along Pelican Lake.
It is part of the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area, which is known for its many lakes. Main roads that go through Breezy Point include County Roads 4, 11, and 39.
