Brethren is a small community in Michigan, United States. It is called an "unincorporated community" because it does not have its own local government. It is also a "census-designated place" (CDP), which means the U.S. Census Bureau counts its population separately.

Brethren is located in Dickson Township, within Manistee County. This area is in the northern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. In 2020, about 331 people lived there. This was a bit less than the 410 people counted in 2010.
