Brian Baumgartner (born November 29, 1972) is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Kevin Malone on the popular NBC TV show The Office, which ran from 2005 to 2013. He also appeared in special online episodes related to the show. His work on The Office helped him win two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Daytime Emmy Awards.
Besides The Office, Brian has acted in movies like Into Temptation (2009), Ordinary World (2016), and Electric Jesus (2020). He also lent his voice to the animated movie Rumble (2021). You might also know his voice as Walter from the Netflix animated series Trash Truck (2020–2021). He has also had recurring roles on TV shows such as Hand of God (2017) and The Other Black Girl (2023).

Early Life and School
Brian Baumgartner was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He went to Holy Innocents' Episcopal School and later graduated from The Westminster Schools in 1991. Interestingly, his co-star from The Office, Ed Helms, graduated from the same school a year later.
While in high school, Brian was very good at competitive speech events, especially drama. He even made it to the national finals in his senior year! He also attended a special theater program at Northwestern University between his junior and senior years. After high school, Brian went to Southern Methodist University and studied theater, graduating in 1995.
Later, he moved to Los Angeles. Before that, he was the Artistic Director of Hidden Theatre in Minneapolis, where he won several awards for his acting and artistic skills. He also performed in many regional theaters, including the Guthrie Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theatre.
