Óscar Núñez (born November 18, 1958) is an American actor and comedian. He is famous for playing the accountant Oscar Martínez on the TV show The Office. He has won several awards for his acting, including two Screen Actors Guild Awards. He was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.
Óscar Núñez was part of a comedy group called the Groundlings. Later, he became a main actor on The Office. He also helped create and star in the Comedy Central show Halfway Home in 2007. In 2014, he was in the comedy series Benched. Since 2018, you might have seen him in State Farm commercials.

Early Life and Education
Óscar Núñez was born in Colón, Cuba. His mother was a dentist, and his father was a lawyer. His family moved to Caracas, Venezuela, in 1960. Then, they moved to the United States. When he was two, his family moved to Boston. At age four, they moved to Union City, New Jersey. He became an American citizen in 1964. Óscar speaks both English and Spanish very well. He studied at different colleges in New York. He also became a certified dental technician.
