Broadview is a friendly suburb located in Adelaide, South Australia. It is part of two local councils: the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and the City of Prospect.

A Look Back at Broadview's History

Broadview was first planned in 1915 by C. H. Angas and K. D. Bowman. The land was then divided into smaller blocks and sold in 1918. This is when the suburb really started to grow.

A Post Office opened in Broadview on November 20, 1945. It served the community for many years before closing in 1987.

Broadview is easy to find on the map. It sits right along Regency Road. The eastern edge of the suburb is marked by Hampstead Road. These main roads help people get around Broadview and to other parts of Adelaide.

Broadview Oval is also very important for sports. It's the home ground for the Broadview Football Club, known as the "Tigers." They play in the Adelaide Footy League and SANFL Juniors. Right next to the oval, you'll find tennis courts. These courts are where the Broadview Tennis Club plays.
