Brooke Mills Simpson, born on May 22, 1991, is a talented American singer. She became well-known after competing on the TV show The Voice in 2017, where she finished in third place as part of Team Miley Cyrus. In 2021, she also auditioned for America's Got Talent, making it to the finals and placing fourth.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Brooke Simpson grew up in an evangelical family. She discovered her love for singing when she was just seven years old. As a child, she traveled and performed with her family. They often attended special gatherings called pow wows, hosted by the Haliwa-Saponi tribe, which Brooke is a member of.
Before she became famous on The Voice, Brooke moved from her hometown of Hollister, North Carolina to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her husband, Ray Simpson. She was thinking about other jobs instead of singing at that time. Her parents are Jimille and Mike Mills. She also has two younger siblings, Leah and Mikey. In 2013, Brooke started working with her vocal coach, Andrez Franco.
Brooke's Journey on The Voice
Brooke Simpson tried out for the 13th season of The Voice in 2017. During her "blind audition" on October 1, 2017, she sang "Stone Cold" by Demi Lovato. All four judges – Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, and Blake Shelton – turned their chairs around, showing they wanted her on their team. Brooke chose to join Team Miley. She ended up finishing in third place in the competition on December 19, 2017.

Broadway and Touring
Brooke Simpson has also performed on stage in a musical called 1776. She played the role of Roger Sherman in Boston, Massachusetts. Later, she continued this role on Broadway in New York City. In 2023, Brooke also played the character of Courier in the national touring company of the show, traveling to different cities.
