About Browndell's Location
Browndell is found in the northern part of Jasper County. A main road, U.S. Route 96, runs along the western side of the city. If you go south on this road for about 15 miles, you'll reach Jasper, which is the main town of the county. If you go north for about 9 miles, you'll find Pineland.
The city is also quite close to a large body of water called the Sam Rayburn Reservoir. It's only about 2 miles east of this reservoir.
According to official measurements, the city covers a total area of about 6.3 square kilometers (or 2.4 square miles). All of this area is land, meaning there are no large lakes or rivers within the city limits.
