Brownlow KI is a small place, also known as a locality, located in the Australian state of South Australia. It is found on the northern coast of Kangaroo Island, which is a large island off the coast of South Australia. From Brownlow KI, you can look out over a beautiful body of water called Nepean Bay.
This locality is about 122 kilometers (about 76 miles) south of Adelaide, which is the capital city of South Australia. It is also very close to Kingscote, the main town on Kangaroo Island, being only about 3 kilometers (less than 2 miles) to the south.

The name "Brownlow" is believed to come from a famous military leader named Field Marshal Sir Charles Henry Brownlow. The letters "KI" were added to the name in May 2002. This was done to make sure people didn't confuse it with another place also called Brownlow, which is located on the mainland of South Australia. So, "KI" stands for Kangaroo Island!
